CMS provides high quality competitively priced pharmaceutical and hemodialysis products to pharmacies and hospitals across Canada. Operating from both its 78,000 square foot facility in Calgary, Alberta and its 8,500 square foot warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario, with a Pharmaceutical Establishment License and a Medical Devices Establishment License issued by Health Canada, CMS operates in full compliance with the Canadian Food and Drug Act.

The principals of CMS are the former owners and operators of Western Dialysis Supplies Ltd., which was in the industry since 1987. Under their stewardship, Western Dialysis grew its market share for Hemodialysis Concentrates to 100% in Western Canada, and 10% in Eastern Canada. One CMS principal is a practicing physician, another is a biochemist.

Since its rebirth as CMS in 2004, market share has grown rapidly. Currently supplying over seventy percent of dialysis consumables to Western Canada and ten percent to Eastern Canada, CMS is well positioned as a dominant manufacturer and distributor in Canada. We have affiliated ourselves with world leaders in dialysis equipment and supplies, such as BBraun, Asahi Kasei, IBP Medical and Medisystems. Currently, Asahi Kasei currently holds 22% of the world market share for dialyzers. We take pride in the products we manufacture, boasting the highest quality concentrates available in Canada (made from water with quality far exceeding AAMI’s standards and the narrowest tolerance of electrolyte concentrations).
